- Furnace and Heat Pumps

No heat or low air flow:
- Check the air filter to make sure it isn’t dirty and blocking airflow. Replace if necessary.
- Check for blocked return-air or supply-air grilles throughout your home. Ensure they are open and unobstructed.
- Check your thermostat for proper temperature. Is it set above room temperature?
- Is the thermostat set on HEAT and the fan set on AUTO or ON?
- Check to make sure furnace or air handler has power. Check electrical fuses, breakers and on/off switch.

- Water Heater
-
Not enough or no hot water:
- If gas, check the manual gas shut-off valve to be sure it is open.
- If gas, check the pilot flame. It may have gone out. If not lit, follow the “Lighting” instructions in your manual. (Sometimes the instructions are also located above the gas control valve on the water heater).
- The temperature adjustment dial may be set too low.
- It will take longer to heat water during cold months, which may seem like less hot water.
Water is too hot:
- The temperature adjustment dial may be set too high.

- Refrigerator
-
Your refrigerator will not operate or the lights do not work:
- Is the power supply cord firmly plugged into a live outlet?
- If no power, check your main fuse or breaker box to see if one has blown/tripped.
- Is the refrigerator control set to the ON position?
- Is the temperature control set properly?
- Is a bulb burned out?
The motor seems to run too much:
- Are the condenser coils dirty? If so, vacuum off dust and dirt.
- Has the door been opened often? Have you added a large amount of food at one time? The motor naturally runs longer to cool the inside contents.
- Is the room hot? If so, the refrigerator has to work harder and run longer to compensate for the warmer temperature outside of it.
If problem still exists, call UtiliPRO immediately at 866-300-5574.

- Range/Oven Stovetop
-
Range does not work at all:
- Make sure the range is plugged into a properly grounded outlet (120v polarized).
- If gas, is it properly connected to the gas supply?
- Has a household fuse or circuit breaker blown/tripped?
Oven does not work:
- Make sure you have set the electronic controls correctly.
- Did you set a delayed start time?
- If gas, make sure the main or regulator gas shutoff valve is in the ON position.
- If gas, and the burner fails to light, the igniter may be broken. Call for service.
- Has a household fuse or circuit breaker blown/tripped?
Surface burners not working properly:
- If gas: If a burner fails to light, check that the control knob is set correctly. Make sure the control knob is turned to the Light position. You may have blown a fuse or tripped
a circuit breaker.
- If electric: Make sure the burner grills are properly set into their mounts.
