UtiliPro, Peachtree City, GA seeks Director of Operations to develop and review the company’s current procedures and policies with regard to service plans for HVAC and Appliance warranty and repair; Develop strategy for optimizing the business operationally, including operational structure and service fulfillment performance; Continually monitor and develop key performance indicators; Develop an ongoing operational strategy to grow and sustain competitive position relative to other providers so that the company can grow its business in scale and reach; Optimize changes versus benchmarked organizations; Contact all product manufacturers and distributors and research potential product offerings that may be available and determine the most viable options to add to our suite of products; Negotiate wholesale pricing models with manufacturers, distributors and contractors; Contact, assemble and coordinate all contractors necessary to continually implement the service process and create master schedule accordingly; Develop and manage strategic business partnerships including, but not exclusive to; equipment manufacturers and distributors, electric and gas contractors, industry organizations, affiliations and membership groups and utility groups; Implement cost-effective inventory strategies conducive to sustaining high levels of production and profitability; Produce and manage operational budget, including the creation of a five (5) year plan; Full responsibility for not having any gaps in the UtiliPRO service area; Develop and maintain effective and appropriate Health and Safety plans and policies; Responsible for ensuring subcontractor compliance with commercial insurance policy requirements; Required to work closely and effectively with all department heads; Responsible for effective fleet management; Responsible for all internal building and other facility costs; and responsible for managing and developing all staff within the Operations Department. 5% US Travel.
Requires Bachelor’s (or educ. equiv.) Degree in Business or Commerce and Eight (8) yrs. exp. in Job Offered or related occupation, or alternatively, 10 yrs. experience in Job Offered or related occupation. Experience must have included: HVAC & Appliance warranty & repair industry specific including managing technical staff and sub-contractors; Budgeting and P&L responsibilities with respect to flat rate and drive time models and parts cost including recurring monthly revenue model as well as with respect to securitization of asset-backed securities; Set up supply chain, purchasing and cost controls; and Recruitment of sub- contractors in HVAC, Appliance, and Plumbing with full understanding of licenses &, insurance requirements.
